Our Bean and Bacon soup is like a pot of pinto beans that have taken all day to prepare, just whip up cornbread and fry some potatoes for a complete meal.
DIRECTIONS: Instructions: Add 1 1/2 cups water, seasoning mix, 3 – 16 oz cans of pinto beans (reduced sodium pinto beans if you prefer), undrained. Simmer for 20 minutes - stir frequently. Add 1- 2.5 oz or 4oz package of soft bacon bits. Stir & enjoy!
